TikTok LIVE / RTMP access
Why TikTok LIVE eligibility does not guarantee an external encoder stream key.
RTMP is not available on every TikTok account
TikTok's general LIVE eligibility and its external-encoder/RTMP capability are separate. An account may be able to go LIVE in TikTok without being given a Server URL and Stream Key for third-party streaming software.
When SStream can connect
- 1Open TikTok LIVE tools and look for its PC/external-encoder/streaming-software workflow.
- 2If TikTok provides a Server URL and Stream Key, copy those values into SStream.
- 3If TikTok does not show external-encoder credentials, SStream cannot create or enable them.
- 4Use TikTok's LIVE support / Report a problem flow to ask about external streaming access for that account.
Eligibility note
Important: TikTok says LIVE availability depends on age, region and a local minimum-follower threshold. Meeting general LIVE eligibility does not itself guarantee RTMP/external-encoder access.
