Screen sharing & presentation-safe layouts
Share a screen without replacing the camera or breaking participant views.
Separate media sources
SStream treats the presenter's camera and shared screen as separate WebRTC sources. Starting a screen share should not replace the camera track for other participants.
Start screen sharing
- 1Choose Share Screen.
- 2Select an application window, browser tab or desktop in the browser picker.
- 3The shared source becomes the dominant presentation area while cameras remain in a side or bottom rail depending on viewport size.
- 4Use Stop Share when finished.
Presentation fitting
Presentation content uses contained sizing so slides, dashboards and desktop content remain visible rather than being cropped like a webcam tile.
Important: For text-heavy presentations, sharing an individual application window or browser tab normally produces a clearer result than sharing an entire high-resolution desktop.
