RTMP / RTMPS live output
Configure one destination and understand the FFmpeg relay workflow.
Prepare destination credentials
- 1Open the destination platform's encoder/live setup.
- 2Copy the current RTMP/RTMPS server URL and stream key.
- 3In SStream, open Dashboard → Go Live Studio.
- 4Choose the preset or Custom RTMP and enter the credentials.
- 5Choose a resolution/bitrate within your package.
- 6Enter the studio, confirm Program, then start the relay.
One destination per broadcast
Important: The current production release supports one RTMP/RTMPS destination per broadcast. Simultaneous multi-destination fan-out is a future backend milestone.
If the relay fails
Stream keys can expire or be tied to a specific event. Copy a fresh key and verify the destination is accepting an external encoder before assuming SStream or FFmpeg is unavailable.
