Getting started with SStream
Understand the dashboard, rooms, hosted video and Live Studio before your first production.
What SStream provides
SStream combines browser meeting rooms, a live production studio, screen/PDF presentation, recordings, hosted video projects and one RTMP/RTMPS destination per live broadcast in the current release.
Your administrator assigns a package that controls project/room quota, upload size and live-output quality.
Recommended first workflow
- 1Create or sign in to your account.
- 2Open Dashboard and review your package limits.
- 3Create a meeting room and test camera/microphone permissions.
- 4Invite a second browser/device through the guest join link.
- 5Try screen share and PDF presentation before a live production.
- 6When ready to broadcast, open Go Live and configure the destination credentials supplied by that platform.
Current broadcast limitation
Important: The current production backend sends one RTMP/RTMPS destination per broadcast. Destination presets do not mean simultaneous fan-out.
